We have been in the horticultural industry for over 40 years growing all kinds of vegetables, and in the past 20 years we have added flowers to our list.  In the past we grew natives including Grampians Thryptomene, Sholtzia Erica, & acres of red & brown boronia, which was exported to Japan.  A 90cm stem cut on a Sunday would be in the hands of the Japanese customer on Tuesday having been handled 20 times.  This means the stem was cut 20 times to allow water absorbtion.  The bunch of Boronia would end up being 30-40 cm long!

Now we have a very well established main crop of hydrangea, which extends from November to May.  We also have varying amounts of the following flowers listed below:

  • Hydrangea - Nov to May

  • Varigated Abelia (small, scented white flowers) - Summer

  • Vibernum Sterile (snowball) - Oct/Nov

  • Camelia - All Year

  • Cherry Blossom - Spring
